Sri Lanka’s southern waters are among the best in the world for spotting blue and sperm whales, as well as pods of spinner dolphins. Boat trips depart early morning from Mirissa or Trincomalee, with experienced skippers tracking seasonal migration patterns. Sightings are never guaranteed, but success rates are high during peak season.
