Sri Lanka’s reefs, shipwrecks and coral gardens offer diving and snorkelling for all experience levels, from Hikkaduwa’s shallow reefs to Trincomalee’s wreck dives. PADI-certified operators run courses and guided dives across both coasts depending on the season. Marine life includes reef fish, turtles and, at deeper wreck sites, occasional larger pelagics.
